Our short sale that turned into a long sale

We fell in love with the house while driving around the central corridor area during our many house gazing excursions in the summer of 2009. We met the owner in the font yard. One thing led to another and we were given a complete tour of the house! We are friendly architecture buffs if you haven't concluded that. So after the home tour we instantly knew we could see ourselves in the house and saw the potential. We exchanged info and noted to contact us if it were ever to go on the market! Shortly after Thanksgiving we were contacted by the owner and notified that he would need to shortsale the house and was giving us the opportunity to work with him and the bank to buy our dream house. The process started that day: November 27th and concluded April 12th!
